By A Staff Reporter : Violence broke out in front of Congress Bhaban in Agartala shortly after results of by-election was declared. Police said armed miscreants attacked Congress party office. Incidentally, Congress leader Sudip Roy Barman defeated BJP candidate Ashok Sinha in closely fought elections to Agartala 6 assembly constituency.
Police chased away the miscreants. A strong police picket has been posted.
