Shanghai declares victory in corona war, schools open in Beijing

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Shanghai administration has declared a "victory" in the fight against the coronavirus. For the first time in the last two months, the number of infections in the Chinese city is zero. The incidence of infection has also decreased in Beijing. It has been decided to open a school there. Since March this year, there has been an increase in corona in different provinces of China. Strict restrictions were imposed to curb the transmission of the virus. The situation in Shanghai was worrisome enough. A strict lockdown of about two months was imposed there. The lockdown was lifted on June 1. On the other hand, Xi Jinping's government followed a zero Covid policy to eradicate the infection.

On Saturday, the Education Commission in Beijing said that all primary and high schools will start teaching on Monday to reduce the rate of infection. The nursery school will open from July 4.
