Man on hospital parapet wall jumped after two hours

BY A STAFF REPORTER: A patient allegedly jumped to death after Institute of Neuroscience hospital authorities reportedly coughed up a bill which was way beyond the person’s means, according to information released by local police. Law enforcing authorities mentioned that the patient sneaked out of his cabin window and sat in the parapet wall for more than two hours with negotiators failing to convince the person. Local people outside the hospital premises at the intersection of Park Street and AJC Bose Road in south Kolkata watched in horror as the incident unfolded.
