The Indian women's cricket team has flown to Sri Lanka to play a three-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. The Indian women's cricket team won the first match of the series by 34 runs. India won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first at the Dambulla International Stadium, India scored 138 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In reply, Sri Lanka scored 104 runs for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Harmanpreet took a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series.
