BY A STAFF REPORTER: Protests and violence have erupted in some states of the country over the Agneepath recruitment project. In this situation, the central government has once again taken a big step. Agniveers will get 10 per cent reservation in recruitment in central armed police forces and Assam Rifles. The decision was announced by Union Home Minister Amit Shah today.
Also the upper age limit of Agniveers for recruitment in the two forces has been increased by 3 years. The upper age limit for agniveer's first batch has been increased by 5 years.
