BY A STAFF REPORTER: Ahead of assembly election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth Rs 21,000 crore in Vadodara, Gujarat.
He said that, "Our double engine government has empowered women in the last eight years. Their empowerment is essential for India's development. Today, policies are being framed keeping in mind the welfare of women, from the army to mining. '
