Veer Smriti Bike Rally organised in the valley in memory of the martyrs

Manjit Singh, Poonch : The Veer Smriti Bike Rally has been organized by the Army at the Shahidgarh War Memorial in Qila Darhal, Lam Nowshera in the valley to pay homage to the heroic soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation.The Nagarota-based corps organised this 'Veer Smriti Jatra' to commemorate the golden jubilee of the White Knight Corps. The special program started on June 8 and will be end on June 13 when it reaches Nagarota. 





Veer Smriti Bike Ralley aims to cover more than 600 kilometers in six days. It consists of nine army personnel and six civilians, The White Knight Riders begin their journey from Kila Darhal. At that time Brigadier Ajay Sharma along with local veteran soldier Bachatar Singh and Sardar Basant Singh flagged off the journey.After visiting all the War Memorials in the south of Rally Pir Panjal, the bikers will meet all the elders and heroic women along the way for the purpose of commemorating Heid.Their only goal is to revive the spirit of patriotism among the locals.The bike has already reached in Poonch.
