BY A STAFF REPORTER: The protest over Nupur Sharma's indecent remarks about the Prophet took place at the Mecca Masjid complex in Hyderabad today. At the end of the Jumma gathering, devout Muslims joined the protest outside the Mecca Masjid.
The police then came and brought the situation under control. Police have been deployed as there is tension in the area. THE CRPF is patrolling the area.
