The monthly revenue collection has reached Rs 1.67 lakh crore, RBI governor said

He said, ''We have seen exceptional growth in very turbulent years.Businesses play an important role in the economy of the country. Revenue collection under GST has increased to Rs 1.6 lakh crore per month.It demonstrates the inherent strength of a tax system like GST that minimizes cascading effects and optimizes business returns and is beneficial to business and government.Our business has built a worldwide reputation. Indian companies have shown great flexibility in an environment of drastic technological change. This has led to shorter product life cycles and innovation and technology has become our main source of energy.''
