R K Jenamani, a senior scientist at the India Meteorological Department, said, "The temperature in Delhi will be 44-46 degrees Celsius. The heat wave in some places will continue from June 8-9. Cloudy weather and rain are likely to occur on June 11 over northwest India and parts of central India due to western disturbances. The heat wave will subside from June 11. ''
