BY A STAFF REPORTER: Finally Monsoon arrives over Kerala. IMD said that the monsoon has entered Kerala at the scheduled time. Meanwhile, the monsoon is also likely to enter West Bengal in the next 10 days. There is also a possibility of rain in the state by this afternoon or evening. The southwest monsoon is considered the lifeline of India's agrarian economy. India Meteorological Department (IMD) Director General Mrityunjay Mohapatra said, "The southwest monsoon entered over Kerala on Sunday, May 29, as against the normal date of June 1".
