BY A STAFF REPORTER: Assam is ravaged by continuous heavy rains. Incessant pre-monsoon rains have led to severe flooding in the state. Millions of people have become shelterless. Meanwhile, some parts of Guwahati were waterlogged after rain on Wednesday. Prominent quarters claimed that the state is constantly getting devastated after incessant rains. As the flood waters in Nagaon and Hojai started rising, people there started living in shelter camps. The central government also extended a helping hand to the state government to stand by the flood victims in Assam.
