The red light on the car, the Calcutta High Court asked the state for an affidavit

By a staff Reporter: The Calcutta High Court sought an affidavit from the state regarding the use of red lights. A lawyer has filed a public interest litigation against Trinamool leader Anubrat Mandal for using a red light in his car. 

This time, the division bench of Chief Justice Prakash Srivastava and Justice Rajarshi Bharadwaj of the Calcutta High Court asked the state to submit the affidavit within four weeks. Others involved in the case will also have to give a reply affidavit within two weeks. The next hearing of the case is on July 19.
