BY A STAFF REPORTER: Kolkata was drenched in rain on Tuesday. At noon, the sky turned black and scattered rain fell on the city. Along with Kolkata, the coastal district also received rain under the influence of cyclone 'Ashni'. On this day, it rained in two Medinipur and two 24 Parganas. Meanwhile, according to the air office, cyclone 'Ashni' has come closer to the coast. The cyclone is currently 300 km away from Visakhapatnam. The storm is located at a distance of 250 km from Kankinara in Andhra Pradesh.
