By a Staff Reporter: A German government spokesman said a video conference of G7 leaders with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy will be held on Sunday. Christian Hoffman said on Friday that "the German chancellor (Olaf Scholz) will hold the third video conference with his G-7 partners since the beginning of the year." Currently, Germany holds the presidency of the G7. The German chancellor will deliver a televised address to the German nation on the evening of May 8. May 8 has a special meaning this year, as the two countries that were once victims of Nazi Germany are at war with each other.
