Kolkata’s Aman Rahman secures Silver for the National Kickboxing Championship, dreams to be world’s No. 1

A proud moment for the entire Heritage family to witness the achievement of Aman Rahman, a student of The Heritage Academy, Kolkata, from Bachelors of  Business Administration (BBA), second  year,  fourth semester,  securing the second position winning a silver medal in the Hades K-1 Pro Interstate National Kickboxing Championship recently held at Goa. He won the runners-up position in the under 80kgs Senior Category.

“Aman’s performance in the kick boxing championship won our hearts. A very hardworking student and has the passion in making a career in Kickboxing,” said Prof. Gour Banerjee, Principal, The Heritage Academy.

“I dream to be among the top Kickboxers in the world. My college supports me a lot in pursuing my goals in life,” said Aman Rahman describing some of the moments from the match.

“Recent scientific study showed that Kickboxing improves concentration, contributes towards a healthy heart and obviously a tremendous weight loss. How many of us know this? This sport is very much well known in the west. It is also gaining a momentum in India as well. Aman’s contribution is an example for his juniors as well to pursue their dreams to become successful in life,” said Mr. P.K.Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata.
