By A Staff Reporter : The Covovax vaccine can be taken over 12 years of age. Adar Poonawala, CEO of Seram Institute of India, tweeted this. He added, "This is the only vaccine made in India that is also sold in Europe and has a 90 per cent effectiveness. This is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of providing another vaccine to protect our children." Incidentally, the Vaccine Think-Tank National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI) of India last week approved the Serum Institute of India's Covovax vaccine for 12-17 year olds.
