New Delhi (29/4) :World Malaria Day was celebrated as awareness day* by Central Yoga & Naturopathy Research Council of Yoga & Natural Medicine Research on 25th April 2022. Dr. Rashmi Pandey conducted the programme and gave opportunity to MBBS internship students and staff members of lHMC present in the program to spread awareness about malaria. Everyone please keep your thoughts very well and also suggest precautionary measures against malaria. Dr. Rashmi told in the programme

Symptoms of malaria - fever, sweat, body pain and vomiting are the main symptoms of the disease. Don't let dirt and water gather around the house to avoid this disease. Avoid doing anything that can cause mosquitoes.

As well as Precautions to prevent malaria were also mentioned that prevent mosquitoes from growing inside or outside the house. Be careful of cleaning your surroundings for this. Do not grow mosquitoes in still water. For this before it starts raining, clean the drains near the house and fill the potholes etc. Spray pesticides on every corner of the house from time to time. Wear full body covering clothes to avoid mosquitoes in rainy season. Yoga therapist Sonia Arya and Bhagwan Swaroop also expressed their views that take care of hygiene around you before eating. Wash your hands well before eating. Practice yoga daily to increase your immunity and take special care of eating. Many doctors of Lady Harding Medical College including Naveen Mishra were also present in the programme.
