BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Calcutta High Court has issued a contempt of court order against state chief secretary H K Dwivedi. And this rule has been issued by Justice Arindam Mukherjee of the High Court. In a case filed by the South Bengal Transport Corporation, the court told the state's Chief secretary, "Why was the court's order not complied with? The chief secretary will announce it by May 20." Recently, a case was filed in the court on the application of the company's retired employees to introduce a pension scheme. In September 2021, the chief secretary was directed to hold talks with the transport and finance secretary.
