I went vegan 2 years ago, and was personally motivated to do this due to the horrors I had discovered of the meat and dairy industry. Since then I have learnt about so many endless health and environmental benefits of this diet, that I felt it important to share the same, for those who may be curious about eco-friendly living and veganism (especially those of us living in cities who think being green isn’t doable!).
I also had to take into account that while most of us would like to be eco-friendly or not harm animals, the reality is that giving up our comforts or making drastic lifestyle changes is a huge deterrent to this. So I focus on simple product swaps and other easy solutions, which anyone can implement in their existing lifestyles without much of an upheaval, while making a huge difference to the environment, animals and personal well-being in doing so!
A holistic vegan lifestyle takes everything in account and not just food, such as household products, fashion, supplements etc. and on my page you can find homegrown, local brands creating these products that can easily replace your current ones.
I started malagoesgreen from a place of love for animals and the environment, with two objectives in mind, education around veganism & a vegan lifestyle and eco-friendly easy hacks for those living in cities.
