Market opens : Indian indices opened gap down on April 25.

At 9.20 IST , the Sensex was down by 691 points and the Nifty was down 210 points .

The markets opened on a negative note today tracking weak global cues . Investors remain concerned about aggressive tightening of pandemic era monetary policies after the Fed’s hawkish comments



On April 22 Foreign institutional investors have bought shares worth Rs 2,461.72 crs , while domestic institutional investors net bought shares worth Rs. 1,602.35 crs , as per NSE data shows .



ICICI Bank Q4 Earnings

Private sector lender ICICI Bank on April 23 reported a 59.9 percent YoY jump in net profit to Rs 7.018.7 cr for the quarter ended March .The bank board approved a dividend of Rs 5 per share for the shareholders.



HDFC Bank board declares dividend of Rs. 15.50 per equity share for the year ended March 2022.



PVR : PVR sees huge block deal . BlackRock bought 37,613 equity shares in the multiplex chain operator through open market transactions on April 21.
