Democracy in Jammu and Kashmir has been strengthened: PM

Addressing a public meeting in Samba district on Sunday, he said, "Employment will be provided to the young generation of Jammu and Kashmir. The development of Jammu and Kashmir is happening at a rapid pace. If everyone tries together, what happens when you see Jammu and Kashmir is understandable. It was in the interest of the country that the panchayati raj system was introduced in India. The Modi government has come and fulfilled Ambedkar's dream. Earlier, many laws were not issued in Jammu and Kashmir, but now citizens have been empowered by introducing laws. Democracy in Jammu and Kashmir has been strengthened. We have integrated Jammu and Kashmir into the panchayat system.'
