WB Guv concern over current situation of Calcutta High Court

State governor Jagdeep Dhankar expressed concern over the current situation in the Calcutta High Court. He wrote a letter to the state's chief minister Mamata Banerjee. WB Guv has urged CM Mamata Banerjee for interaction during the day in view of disturbing and unprecedented worrisome scenario in the precincts of High Court at Calcutta as also the recent spate of heinous crime against women and continual deteriorating law & order in the State. Dhankar said that, "There has been an unprecedented alarming situation in the Calcutta High Court. The manner in which the work of the court is being obstructed is an indication of killing democracy. The worst crimes against women are taking place in the state. Law and order in the state continues to deteriorate."
