Successful new 'Pinak' rocket test at Pokhran

The Defence Research and Development Organisation has successfully tested the Pinak rocket launcher system in Pokhran. This test has been going on for the last two weeks. According to defence ministry sources, the test was conducted jointly by drdo with the army. Several tests have been conducted in the last 14 days. Pinaka Mk-I rockets have been fired at different distances. In each trial, the goal was successful. Twenty-four rockets of different magnitudes were fired, the statement said. Most of these were freshly tested of extended range rockets. From this system, 72 rockets can be fired in 42 seconds. But with time, it also needed to change. This time, the DRDO has made many changes and prepared a new Pinak-ER. They were tested. And the test was successful. It has been found that earlier the Pinak rocket was successful in targeting 45 km away. But this new Pinak rocket can hit unsuccessfully even 70 km away.
