Russia attacks Ukraine's oil refinery

By a Staff Reporter:  Russian forces targeted a major Ukrainian oil refinery on Saturday morning, a spokesman for the country's military said. Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday that the refinery in the city of Kremenchuk in central Ukraine had been hit by "high-precision, long-range, air and sea-based weapons". Konashenkov said the Russian military had destroyed gasoline and diesel fuel storage plants that were supplied to Ukrainian troops in the east and central parts of the country.
