BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an extreme heat wave warning. IMD said that, Heatwave spell likely to continue over Northwest, Central & West India during next 4-5 days. However, the intensity of heatwave will reduce over Northwest India from 1st April. Also IMD suggested that avoiding sun exposure as much as possible. Labour ministry, Power ministry, Fire departments have been alerted: IMD on heatwave alert for Northwest, Central & West India.
