BY A STAFF REPORTER: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is on a visit to Darjeeling. The chief minister opened up on the issue of GTA elections at a meeting on Tuesday. She said, "GTA elections will be held in Darjeeling very soon. Whenever Darjeeling smiles, a political party comes and turns around and goes with the vote. Don't eat Delhi laddoos. They don't love the people of Bengal. An attempt is being made to defame Bengal. The patta was not given in Darjeeling for 20 years. Everyone will be given land pattas.''
