Japan imposes sanctions on Russia

By a Staff Reporter: Japan imposes further sanctions on Russia. Japan's Ministry of Finance has confiscated the properties of 25 Russian companies and banned exports to 81 Russian companies. The targets of the new sanctions include five relatives of Former Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and chairman of the main state-owned bank, Vineshekonam Bank, Igor Shuvalov and Oligarch Sergei Chemezov, Japan's finance ministry said.
