By a Staff Reporter The embassy of india damascus celebrated festival of colours in association with Syrian centre of yoga and meditation, latakia which is about 350 km away from Damascus on March 18, 2022.
Vice Governor of latakia was the chief guest. about 350 Syrians from all walks of life of latakia and lovers of india from Damascus, Aleppo tartous and banias participated in the event and thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the event and Indian culture.
ambassador m.s.kanyal spoke on the occasion highlighting the spirit of humanity, universal brotherhood and harmony behind celebrating festivals by people of all faiths in india.
a cultural programme was organised by the Syrian centre on the occasion followed by collective dance on bolleywood Syrian music and songs. indian gujia, samosa and other indian food were served. the Syrians love india, indian culture, indian products and cuisine.
