Poland's border railway closed due to technical problems, increasing rush of Ukrainian refugees

By a Staff Reporter:  Rail traffic was halted on Thursday amid heavy attacks by Russian troops in several areas of Poland bordering Ukraine. As a result, it is feared that refugees coming to the border may face problems in wartime situations. Poland's Transport Minister Andrzej Adamzic said: "The outage was caused by a mechanical fault in the railway signalling system. This has happened in the past in India, Singapore and possibly pakistan. A French company oversees the technical aspect of signalling in poland's rail system. On Thursday afternoon, the agency said it was trying to normalise the situation quickly. However, many Ukrainian refugees are reportedly trapped in the border area.
