Russian President Vladimir Putin said this over the phone to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the Indian Foreign Ministry has claimed that there are no student hostages in Ukraine. Putin told Modi, "The Ukrainian army is using Indian students as human shields by holding them hostage."
