Shiv Sena adopts a 6-year-old boy

By A Staff Reporter : Shiv Sena adopts 6-year-old child after losing family.Three members of the child's family were killed in a gas cylinder exploded in Orley's Chawl on November 30.Regarding the adoption of the child, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said,''We've adopted him. He'll live with his maternal grandfather in Pune. We've granted him financial aid of Rs 15 lakhs. Rs 5,000-10,000 will be sent to his account every month. We'll bear expenses of his education. He is now Shiv Sena's responsibility.''
