Resident doctors of BJ Medical College on strike

By A Staff Reporter : Resident doctors of BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad, Gujarat went on strike on the issue of management. JDA vice-president Dr. Nikhil Bathijia said, "We have lodged a complaint with the higher authorities in December 2021 about Dr. Kamlesh Upadhyay, alleging mental abuse on some medicine department residents, interns and UG students. We complained to our PG director & even Health Minister, Secy, Commissioner in Gandhinagar, but there were no justifiable actions. We conducted a token strike yesterday & have shut emergency facilities today. We'll continue until we get justice."
