BY A STAFF REPORTER: Now Mahatma Gandhi's statue vendalised in Bihar. SP Kumar Ashish said that, 'A statue of Mahatma Gandhi was vandalised allegedly by some drug addicts in Charkha Park of Motihari yesterday. Some eyewitnesses have given statements to police. A police team has been formed to nab the accused. A home guard has been deployed here." Police also said that, The 8 feet high statue on the Mahatma Gandhi road was installed by the Power Grid Corporation of India under its corporate social responsibility. According to police sources, some unknown antisocial elements vandalized and ripped the statue from its base.
