A statement issued by the Army on Tuesday said that the bodies of the slain jawans have been recovered. On Monday, the Army had said that the jawans who were hit by the avalanche were members of the army patrol team. They had not been found since the avalanche. The search for the missing jawans began. Special teams were flown in by air in search of the missing jawans. On Tuesday, the army said the bodies of seven people had been recovered.
