Domjur Science Fair 2022

Kolkata (04/02): 8th Domjur Science Fair organized on 27th January to 30th January at Begri High School, Begri, Howrah it was organized by ‘Domjur DISHA’ an NGO of Domjur. The fair was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Dhrubojyoti Chattopadhyay, Vice Chancellor of Sister Nibadita University, Kolkata. Honorable chief guest of this occasion Sri. Sitanath Ghosh, MLA of Jhagatballavpur Bidhansava and Dr. Ramendralal Mukherjee, Scientist and owner of HMRC, Howrah, Sri Debjyoti Biswas, CEO, DB HSE International, Kolkata and lots of eminent personality. Scientific magazine “Disha Darpan” published in this occasion. This fair also has some competition like debate, essay, drawing, quiz, extempore etc. The main attraction of that fair is science model exhibition. These fairs also have lots of seminar on recent topic by experts and scientists. All successful participant felicitated in the prize distribution ceremony on 30th January, 2022. The organizing secretary of the fair, Dr. Monotosh Khanra said that “This fair organized maintaining all COVID-19 norms and 33 project groups participated in model exhibition completion”. Some of project comes as personal endeavor to participate in that fair from remote area of Domjur.
