By A Staff Reporter : The Election Commission has already banned rallies and road shows for the election campaign in this worrying situation. Now the Election Commission of India extends the ban on physical rallies and roadshows till January 31, 2022.Permission has been granted by the commission for physical public meetings of political parties/contesting candidates. Candidates for the first phase will be able to hold public meeting from January 26 and the candidates for the second phase will be able to hold public meetings fron 1 February.In the case of door-to-door public relations, the commission has allowed the presence of 10 people instead of 5 at a time.Video vans for publicity permitted at designated open spaces with COVID restrictions
