EC has changed the date of Punjab elections

By A Staff Reporter : Election day in Punjab has been postponed to February 20.The commission said in a statement after Monday's meeting that the vote would take place on February 20.The BJP and the Congress had filed a petition to postpone the polls for the occasion of Sant Ravidas Jayanti.The Election Commission agreed to that request. Although the day of polling has been postponed, the day of counting has not changed. The count will take place on March 10.
