Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Mamata Banerjee and enquired about the rail accident in Jalpaiguri. Modi assured her of all support to treat the injured. The railway ministry has directed chairman railway board and Director general railway safety to reach the spot. The Chairman Railway board and director railway safety are expected to reach Kolkata around midnight and proceed to Jalpaiguri by special train.
