``All is well'' : Congress on Punjab crisis

Indian Cricket and hockey star has closed ranks against an army Captain as Congress infighting in Punjab took an interesting turn. ANM News sources indicated that Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh will be leading the Congress campaign in Punjab and he is the face of the party in the coming elections. Captain Amarinder, who is in the Capital to interact with the three member panel former by Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi has conveyed to them that he is not averse to the idea of accomodating Sidhu as a cabinet minister. But former cricket star Navjot Singh Sidhu and former Indian hockey captain Pargat Singh, has demanded that they be given a larger say in the party. Sources said the three member panel has indicated that Sidhu and Pargat should be involved in the poll campaign and party affairs.
