Government involves Green Tech to clear Covid wastes in Gangasagar

Although the fear of Covid loomed over Gangasagar mela, volunteers of Green Tech fanned across the island and in adjoining areas to collect bio medical wastes. Speaking exclusively with ANM News from Gangasagar, Ramakant Barman of Green Tech said his team is in constant touch with the district magistrate of South 24 Parganas, Ulganathan and they are working on a plan devised by the state government. ``There will be no contamination from Covid waste in Gangasagar mela,'' declared Barman.  He thanked Ulganathan for providing the much needed support and exemplary leadership in the crisis period.
