India records 1,68,063 fresh COVID cases

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Again today India record in daily corona cases. As per Union Health Ministry report, India reports 1,68,063 fresh COVID cases. 6.5% lower than the previous day. This brought the total caseload to 3,58,75,790. As many as 277 deaths were reported in the country , increasing the total reported death count to 4,84,213. Active case tally reaches 8,21,446. Daily positivity rate is 10.64%. The Omicron case tally at 4,461.
