T&T’S HEALTH MINISTER WARNS AGAINST THE USE OF IVERMECTIN TO TREAT COVID 19

The Health Ministry met with the Police Service on Wednesday morning to plan a further enhanced crackdown on false vaccination cards, as the government moves to make the Public Service a quasi safe zone on January 17th. However, the Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, chose not to go into details about the plans to ensure honesty among public officers.

Meantime, the Health Minister also expressed his dis satisfaction over reports that a number of covid 19 patients, who chose to spend tens of thousands of dollars for home treatment and medication. According to him doctors are reporting that this method should not be continued as it can prove even more unfortunate for the patients

He further suggested that based on observations the use of the drug may be the culprit behind this country’s increasing death rates
