Tollygunge Club cancels year end revelry, many others follow suit

By A Staff Reporter: With coronavirus cases rises thick and fast, Tollygunge Club, one of the premier golf and country club in the world has cancelled their year end celebrations. Sources close to Club authorities mentioned that the decision was taken following the rise in cases of persons infected with Omicron variants in the city. The club however will function normally till state government announces further restrictions and measures. There are indications that several other clubs like the RCGC have either formally cancelled or are planning to call off their year end revelry.
