By A Staff Reporter : Union Cabinet has approved the proposal to increase the age of marriage for girls. Until now, the age of marriage for men was at least 21 years. And for girls it was 18 years. Although there is no change in the age of marriage of men, but the age of marriage of girls is going to increase by 3 years. Last year on Independence Day Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself proposed raising the age of marriage for girls. Now, The Union Cabinet also agreed.
