By a Staff Reporter: The Ministry of Health’s covid-19 booster programme has officially been launched and will kickstart on Monday. Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh made the announcement at Saturdays covid-19 media briefing where he said that those who received their first and second doses of Astra Zeneca in June can go in from Monday for a third dose in Pfizer. This he said will be a one month rolling programme. With questions on if your vaccination status will change even if you do not take the booster shot, Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram said that with a booster being only added protection, this will not be the case.
