By A Staff Reporter : Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the Saryu Nahar National Project in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh.This project's total cost is more than Rs 9,600 crore.The main objective of the project is to connect Ghaghra, Saryu, Rapti, Banganga and Rohini rivers to ensure optimal use of water resources. The project will provide water for irrigation to 14 millions Hector of land and will benefit 9 districts in Eastern UP, which will help about 29 million farmers in more than 6200 villages.
