TOBAGO HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY INAUGURATION

By a Staff Reporter: The Progressive Democratic Patriots have been sworn in to the Tobago House of Assembly with deputy political leader Farley Augustine as Chief Secretary.

Trinidad and Tobago’s President Paula-Mae Weekes administered the oath of office to the 14 winning PDP candidates and sole PNM candidate Kelvon Morris on Thursday at the Magdelena Grand hotel.

Following the ceremony, Mr Augustine said that with a collapsed economy and private sector they understand the urgent need to align realign the divisions in the Tobago House of assembly.
