Yoga promotes mental and physical wellbeing : UN

If there are threats to humanity, Yoga often gives us a way of holistic health, as mentioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 7th international Yoga day.  June 21 is celebrated as the international yoga day with people all over the world practising yoga to develop fitness and sound mental health.  The United Nations also tweeted that ``Yoga can play a significant role in promoting both physical & mental well-being, especially for those facing social isolation & emotional distress as a result of the pandemic.''
