By a Staff Reporter : Out of 144 wards, BJP candidates in wards number 133 and 134 submitted nominations but later withdraw. No BJP candidate will contest from that seat in the Municipality elections. But BJP state president Sukant Majumder answered why they withdrew their nominations. In this regard, he has made the ruling party of the state stand on the fence. He said the two candidates had been forced to withdraw their nominations by standing in front of the barrel of a gun.
